Rotate PDF pages and save the result
Choose a PDF, turn single pages or all pages left or right, and save. The tool changes the rotation setting of each page inside the PDF, so every PDF reader opens the pages the new way.
Your browser does the work, and the file never leaves your device.

Questions
Questions and limits
What this tool does and what it can't do.
Is the rotation saved in the file?
Yes. The tool sets the /Rotate value of each page, which every PDF reader follows. This is a change to the file, not to how this page shows it.
Does rotating lower the quality?
No. The tool does not redraw or re-compress the page content. It changes only the rotation value, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality.
Are form fields and annotations kept?
Yes. The tool rewrites the file with the same content and changes only the rotation. Digital signatures become invalid, because the file has changed.
Can I rotate by any angle?
No. PDF pages turn in steps of 90 degrees.
Is there a file size limit?
Files can be up to 100 MB. Your device has to hold the file and the result in memory, so a phone with little memory may fail on large files before that limit.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
No. The tool does not support encrypted or password-protected PDFs. Remove the password in the app that created the file, then try again.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The page and its code load from quireapps.com. After that, your browser reads the file and does all the work in this tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and the page has no analytics or tracking. To check, open your browser's developer tools and watch the Network tab while you use the tool.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free, and you don't need an account. The tool adds no watermark and has no daily limit.
Which browsers does it work in?
Testing covers Chrome. The tool uses features that current versions of Edge, Firefox (105 or later) and Safari (16.4 or later) also have, but those browsers have had less testing here.
